Description

The Vermona DSR-3 is a stereo dual spring reverb processor in the effects category. It delivers stereophonic spring reverberation with multiple operating modes that support parallel, serial, and mono/stereo configurations for flexible routing and creative use. Key features include two spring channels, each with its own two-band equalizer (bass and treble) tuned to the springs’ response. The unit provides both 6.3 mm TS jack outputs and balanced XLR I/O, with custom transformers to balance the output. The DSR-3 can operate in three modes: STEREO for full stereo processing, DUAL for independent processing of two sources, and SERIAL for cascading reverberation to extend tails. These options enable lush, vintage-sounding reverbs with depth suitable for keyboards, guitars, and other instruments. In terms of inputs and power, it offers front unbalanced 1/4" inputs, rear unbalanced 1/4" inputs, and rear balanced XLR inputs, with a maximum input level of +18 dBu. The unit relies on an internal power supply and is designed for professional studio and live use, providing a distinctive spring reverberation character. The weight and dimensions place it as a substantial rack-mounted device suitable for integrating into larger analog or hybrid setups.
