Description
The Zoom MS-70CDR+ is a multi-effects stompbox designed for guitar and bass, offering a broad range of spatial effects. It combines chorus, delay, and reverb with a suite of modulation, dynamics, and filter effects, organized into categories with a color-coded LCD and four footswitches for easy real-time control. The unit supports up to 6 effects simultaneously and features 100 patch memories plus 80 presets to provide quick inspiration and recall. Key features include 43 chorus/modulation options, 29 mono and stereo delays with up to 4 seconds of delay time, and 33 studio-quality reverbs ranging from spring to large hall and arena spaces. A total of 44 dynamic and filter effects complement the signal chain, enabling a wide palette of textures. Patch memories store effect orders, on/off states, and parameter values, and changes can be saved automatically with Auto Save. The MS-70CDR+ can be powered by two AA batteries or an AC adapter, and includes USB Type-C connectivity for power and data, as well as USB MIDI capabilities for remote patch changes via MIDI-compatible gear. Typical use cases include live performance setups requiring versatile, hands-free control with footswitches, stereo input and output for processed sounds, and expandable tone shaping through the Handy Guitar Lab app. The device is built with a sturdy metal frame and provides user-friendly navigation for editing patches, adjusting parameters, and managing library sounds.
