ReTubeVerb — Vermona

Beschreibung

The Vermona ReTubeVerb is a tube spring reverb effects processor. It is designed to deliver a vintage-style reverberation by combining valve-based circuitry with mechanical spring reverb, assembled in a compact 19", 2U enclosure. The unit is built to preserve the character of the input signal while adding a soft, tube-driven compression that is characteristic of real tubes. Key features include a three-band equalizer to tailor the spring’s response, and a robust construction described as well-suited for daily use. The device offers multiple input options, including 1/4" jacks on the front and rear (with rear inputs switchable to 0 dB or –20 dB), as well as XLR inputs at different sensitivity settings. Outputs provide both 1/4" and XLR options with specified output levels and impedances, enabling flexible routing in various studio or live setups. Typical use cases involve enriching instrument or vocal signals with warm, vintage reverberation and controllable tonal shaping via the built-in equalizer. The design emphasizes audiophile-level construction and hand-assembled quality, aiming for a unique spring reverb sound rather than a modern digital reverb alternative.
