Mono Lancet ’15 — Vermona

Beschreibung

The Vermona Mono Lancet ’15 is a monophonic analog desktop synthesizer in the category of rack-mounted synths. It is designed for lead, bass, and effects sounds, built around two oscillators, a noise generator, a low-pass filter, and a VCA to create warm, characterful tones. The unit emphasizes a straightforward, hands-on interface with dedicated controls for each parameter, aiming for quick sound realization without complex routing. Key features include two VCOs with multiple waveforms (VCO1: square, sawtooth, triangle; VCO2: square, sawtooth) plus a white noise source, a 24 dB/octave low-pass filter with resonant range, and a VCA with multiple modes (EG, GATE, ON). The DCOs offer octave ranges (8’, 16’, 32’ for VCO1; 4’, 8’, 16 for VCO2) and detune, with additional modulation options via MIDI (CC-based modulation wheel for pulse-width, pitch bend, and envelopes) and an LFO with several waveform choices. The device supports keytracking, an adjustable envelope generator, and auto-glide. Optional expansion via the Modular Dock Eurorack module adds additional connectivity to the synth’s sections. Typical usage scenarios include crafting classic analogue monosynth leads, basslines, and effect-centric sounds, with characteristics rooted in its hand-built, analogue signal path and its compact desktop footprint. A Modular Dock option allows integrating the unit into a larger modular setup for expanded routing and control. The Mono Lancet ’15 is manufactured in Vermona’s traditional hand-built style in Vogtland, emphasizing high-quality analogue construction. The unit is powered by an external DC 12 V, 1000 mA supply.
